I know you all have been waiting so here’s my announcement post about AWAKEN, the last book in the BRIGHTEST KIND OF DARKNESS series that I posted in my readers’ group last night.
I have good news and bad news. First, the bad news, AWAKEN’s release is being pushed back until mid August. I could possibly get it done earlier, but for now…that’s the date I’m going to set. I’m sure some of you will be frustrated and disappointed with the delay and I’m sorry for that, but I hope you’ll appreciate the effort behind it. I need more time to finish the book, since I had to take far more time away from my writing to prepare for this International move back to the US than I anticipated (I’m moving in 2 weeks, EEP!), but also because I put some major time and effort into researching images and back and forth edits to get things just right for the GOOD NEWS you see below.
Yes, I’ve redone all the BRIGHTEST KIND OF DARKNESS covers. If that’s isn’t commitment to the series, and Ethan and Nara, I don’t know what is…’cause redoing six covers isn’t cheap, lemme tell ya! 🙂 I hope you all LOVE this redo of Ethan and Nara’s covers and that they make you even more excited for AWAKEN’s release later this summer. It’ll take a bit of time to get all the new covers switched out on the retailers in both eBook and the print versions, but you’ll start seeing them pop up in the next week.

PREORDERS for AWAKEN: I will be posting a preorder at iBooks, but that’s the only retailer who will get an early preorder date this far out.
